Common Knowledge #2 Empty Common Knowledge #2

The Prophet has been gone. We all know about him and his story. He is legendary. His eyes glow a pail teal color. This is the power of the Creators work.

L'Met also creates a teal glow when being used. The Kressen and Samuel created a concentrated L'Met called M'lor. M'lor is a crystal form of pure L'met. Common Knowledge #2 Yorilight-1

Giving off the light naturally, it was used in the Pre-world. We all refur the 'Pre-world' as the time before the war. These lights were used as a fuel, or light. Posted as street lights, or in homes to light areas, or fuel machines.

Now they are used as weapons. The crystal was not all solid. In the middle of the crystal there is a liquid. Upon extracting this pure L'met, it would form a liquid, much like mercury. Then would solidify around the edges forming a crystal shell.

Once broken, this pure L'met would poison whoever was exposed to it for a long period of times. It would seep inside the blood, (where L'met was most inside the body) and veins would give off a teal glow. The lighter the pigment of the skin, the brighter the glow.

Same thing when using L'met, the stronger the 'manipulation' the brighter the glow.

King Kressen is known to sacrifice living things to extract L'met to make M'lor. Pre-world, there were monks that would be trained to extract L'met from the air around, or other elements. However, its much faster, and purer to take the L'met from a body.
Once you take all the L'met from a body, it becomes lifeless. Not dead, but lifeless, like a glove with no hand.

Rumors go around that M'lor is used to create puppets for war. People and animals used to get the M'lor, would then be subected to having L'mor crystals placed either in or on them, then enchanted to perform the deeds of the enchanters. Such use of L'met was never intended. Nor is it looked kindly upon. It is the "black-magic' of this world.

In pre-world, M'lor was used in such ways to help. For an example;
If a farmer needed to harvest large crops, he would place a M'lor Crystal on a specially made machine and pay an enchanter to enchant a "drive" or "move upon command" spell, causing the wheels to turn with the commands of the farmer.

Or, a staff, with the M'lor crystal would be enchanted to create light, or water. Thus making a light poll, or a water staff. However, it would need time to "charge" and absorb the water around in the air to supply the M'lor's ability.

A good example of that would be;
A farmer wished to grow an apple tree. He would use L'met, (the will) to make the soil rich enough to plant in. Then would find a M'lor shop, and purchase a Crystal, to hire an enchanter to create a water well spell. This would absorb water from around the well to fill the well with water. A slow process at first, but once the well was full, it would be ready for use.

During the 1000 year war, King Kressen enslaved these enchanters to create weapons. Forcing Monks to sacrifice prisoners for M'lor crystals. The enchanters would then embed fire spells on staffs (flame-throwers), or 'self-moving' spells on objects to be able to 'project' other object into people at high speeds. (Guns)

Not mentioning the poisonous properties of the M'lor as it is. Using containers that would hold the Crystals would be thrown and erupting in the Liquid L'met, poisoning people around.

King Kressen, rumored to be a lineage rather then one person, also rumored to be the voice of the evil kingdom, controls the people of Cross. Causing them to work and slave away crops, machines and other tools, to be delivered to the main city. This is known as THE TRADE. The trade would have soldiers come from the kingdom in caravans to either pickup the goods, or pick up slaves and sacrifices. People feared The Trade. Others would fight, but were easily out numbered, and out classed.

The group that fights the Kingdom are known as The Followers of Sam. An icon would be placed on door frames, or hidden from public that represent The Followers. Common Knowledge #2 InsurSmall_zps83809ff0

No one knows who leads them, or where they operate. But they fight back, trying to take Cross back and recreate Cross like it was in Pre-World.

Its common knowledge that you dont play around saying that you are part of The Followers, without knowing that someone might just take your life in your sleep. The Followers are a highly secret group of rebels.

The life of the civil world is rough. Slaved to work from birth, and spit on by the Kingdom. Its not hard, and you get rewarded if you keep your head down during public executions. More so if you rat out The Followers, IF you are able to gain information. People even go further and seek out how to make a good name for themselves. From Snitching, ease-dropping, and other devious things. The civil world calls them Kingdom Rats. Or just Rats.
